washer won't stop filling!!!!

The washer won’t stop filling. I can turn it on, and manually start it, and when i push the knob in it stops, but if I let it run, it will overfill and leak all over the floor. I switched the load size to medium, with the same problem, but when i put it to small, no water came out at all. Is there some type of sensor in the machine which determines the water level, or does the timer do it? If it is the timer, can i replace just taht part?

Most likely the problem is a bad water level switch (inside the control panel).

I have a whirlpool gold GU1200XTLS2 that does not clean the top rack of the dishes. I have tried with the dishwasher full and half full and no dishes on the bottom rack and dishes on the top rack. Still does not clean them. Is there something that needs to be possibly cleaned or has anyone else experienced this problem.

Fridgidaire fridge is freezing food in the fridge compartment.
I have been told it is the temperature control part #5304404821.
Fridge is running for a long time I cannot shut it off with the control in the fridge compartment I have to unplug the unit.
If I leave it off for a few hours the contol knob will work and shut off the unit. I have the freezer compartment control at 1/2. I will plug back in and it will happen again.
Is it the temperature contol unit mal functioning?
If so is it difficult to install a temperature control unit as per above part#
Is there instructions available to change the temp switch

Most likely the problem is a bad temperature control. I’m not able to give you more accurate advise because the model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it, please.

Gene it is a Canadian Unit I got the model# from the plate inside the fridge.
Not sure if their is any manual or specs to assist in changing?

So it is possible that a false connection caused the machine to continue to fill that resolved itself when properly secured. Thanks!

my oven stopped baking so i assumed it was the element and bought a new one and installed it. it still does not bake, it will broil, my lights come on telling me it is preheating but the bake element never even come on. What could the problem be?

Could be your control board / timer is shot.
