I have a Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care 1 washer. Heavy duty ,…extra capacity plus,… 80 Series,…Stock # 25822,… Model # 110,…Serial Number CE3117599.
It works great !!! It just wont spin. The water will drain from the washer via the pump,...and it washes and rinses just fine. I have never had a problem with it. Then I started having an issue where I would put laundry in ,...and come back to finish it,.. and the thing would still be full of water. I noticed that if I pushed on the lid a little it would work. As soon as I would let go ,... it would stop again. So ,... being the genius I believe I am,... I stuck a pencil eraser between the lid switch and the body of the washer, lol. It has worked fine until today. Now even when I activate the switch by hand,....
it will drain the water,... but the basket does not spin and the clothes are still soaked. This has become a real annoyance. Lid switch problem?? Or is it worse than I wanna know?? It washes and everything else it should do ,.. works like a charm,.. no noises or funny electrical smell,... so I have assumed it isnt the motor. Possibly a belt?? Don't know for sure,.. and I only have like two days ta fix this,....because I just sold it,... and now the guy is pissed. Please ,... please help me,...I really cannot afford to take this as a loss !!!:(
The lid switch can be bypassed too…not recommeded if there are small children though
i believe the # you are lookin for is 92582220,… let me know if that helps,…i am kind of relying on the guy that bought it from me,… cause its at his house,… not mine. Thanks again,… 'preciate it.
How should i go about doing that,… no small children in household,… but once it is bypassed ,… can i put it back if thas not the problem,… or did i just ruin a perfectly good switch,??lol.
Just clip the wires (leave long enough to replace later if need be) tape the white & gray wires together, the green is the ground.

The part number is AP3094500, $24.32 from this site. If want to go that route.
If you can push on the lid switch and lid to get it going that’s pretty much got to be the problem. Depending on how much you sold the thing for as to what you’re willing to do for this guy…
thas wut i used to do ,… but now it doesnt work like that anymore,… it will drain the water via pump,… but it wont spin the clothes anymore,… no matter wut i do to it. Damn man you work fast,…lol. thanks fer the prices and stuff,… gonna see if i cant talk him into bypassing switch first,… and then I guess we will go from there,… if this doesnt work,… I’ll be back ,… lol. I sold the washer and the dryer as a set for 200,… only cause i bought them reconditioned,… and I’ve had them about 5 years now. Otherwards the price wouldda been higher. I still dont wanna like burn dudes house down or nothing. He is actually working with me a lil easier now,… just pissed i guess cause he took off half a day for a bum washer.
Understand, hope that helps. Bypass is the easiest and it’s safe (as long as they keep their arms out while spinning)
If I can help further let me know…that’s what I do :o)
ok,…here it goes,…i have bypassed the switch,… two black wires and wut appears to be a clear hollow tube,…almost reminds me of an oxygen line ,… but way smaller. No gray wires,… no white wire.
It was working just the same way,…i have looked at the motor coupler,…looks good,… although i don’t quite know how it works,…no mechanical damage that is visible, i gotta get this done today,… or i am in real deep s#%& !!! I am completely at a loss now.
1. Does the washer have to have water in it for it to spin?
2. what is the motor coupler and how does it work?
3. is there anything else I am missing ,.. or that may be at fault here,...given the previous threads posted?
4.does not appear to be belt driven,.. moreso gears,..
what was the clear hollow tube,..that by the way didnt seem to go to anything??
5. The wires were black ,.. not gray,..the ground was already in place,...and that tube????
I really dont know much about washers or the technical names for the stuff,.. but i'd like ta think I ain't dumb. Can you please help me with this??
PhantomLord.
I have a Duet washer that won’t drain or spin out. It ran just fine yesterday but won’t work today. I have cleaned out all the drain lines and catch screen, there are no obstructions that i can see, yet it still won’t work. Everything appears in good shape, i am wondering if the control modual may have gone out. Has anyone run accross this situation? Thanks for the help.
