Washing machine won't drain, agitate, or spin

My washing machine (Whirlpool model no. LSR6232JQ0) will not pump out water, agitate, or spin, but fills the tank with water just fine. When I adjust the control knob to a different setting (i.e. spin), I can hear the timer clicking and a light humming sound (not sure if that is the motor or timer). I was thinking about replacing the lid switch, but not sure if it could have something to do with the pulley pump.

The first failure suspect is the lid switch. Especially if it does not click when you close the lid. In order to replace it you have to open the console and remove the washer cabinet. The instructions are attached to the reply.

Changed out the switch with no improvement. All discrepancies are still the same. Any other suggestions?

Remove the washer cabinet and check all wires to the motor and at the motor plug.

Check the motor start capacitor.
