Hi, my in door water & ice dispenser is dead. Ice maker still makes ice. Anyone have an idea of what it might be?
Thanks, Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Remove the dispenser front cover (the instructions are attached) and check the parts inside. Post the results.
Here are the breakdown diagram and http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5137287&diagram_id=29342044
Gene.
I’m getting 120V at the control board.
Kevin,
What about all other dispenser parts?
Gene.
Everything else looks fine.
Looks like the solution is to replace the front cover assembly. If you need the correct part number, post the color of it.
Gene.
But how can you be sure if it is the front panel, or the circuit board behind the panel?
It comes together as assembly. Look at #23 at the diagram.
Gene.
You are wrong on this model—the front panel is separate from the circuit board.
You definitely can separate them but the question is: does Whirlpool sell them separate? If you look at the diagram and parts list, then you’ll see it.
Gene.
