Water dripping inside refridgerator and freezing

We have this Kenmore Coldspot Refridgerator
Model# 106.9759725
Manufactured in 04 of 96

When I try to look it up for parts, schematics or whatever it just does not come up. I don’t have the owners manual as we bought it used. It is still working great but has a slight issue. With the freezer being on top, there tends to be water dripping down a center chase at the ceiling and top back wall inside of the refrigerator. We have set a plastic container there catching the water as it drips which also stays frozen in this container.

Any idea as to what’s causing the problem and its solution??? Users manual anyone???

Thanks

So if the problem may be that there is a frozen or clogged drain above the fridge area (at the freezer), but the refrigerator stood unplugged for a week or two, could that still be the issue?

Yes The only way water can get inside a frig is either by defrost water or the door seal isn’t sealing and warm air is migrating into it condensating and turning to water.Sometimes a food wrapper or styrofoam will plug the hole or One needs to instasll a defrost drain heater to keep hole from freezing
