Water / ice control valve leaking

Just replaced the control valve for water and ice. The valve is doing great but I have a water leak at the main water line leaving the valve going to the filter. On the old valve this was a threaded connection. On the new valve it is what I call a quick connect. I have recut the the line to ensure a clean stright cut using tube cutters and it is still leaking. I have ensure the line is fully inserted. What can I do to fix this leak? Is it a bad quick connect fitting. Thanks JT
