I replaced the dual water inlet valve on my side by side, plus ran new lines. The old water inlet valve did not have different size solenoid metal parts, sticking out. The two pair of two were the same size. The new one has one side, slightly smaller that the other side. I have the Wires connected and turned on but when I depress the water dispenser, it fills my ice tray. Would this happen if those wires were crossed?

Yes that would be my guess.
I cannot find any info/wiring diagram on the given model number so cannot confirm this.
It did work. I switched the two and everything seems to be working correctly.
