I recently noticed that water is ponding on the lowest portion of the refrigerator (underneath the bottom food drawer.) I do notice some condensation on the back of the bottom food drawer. On this particular model, that drawer also serves as cold storage compartment and a defrost/quick cool compartment.
Trying to figure out what may be the cause and if anyone has seen this issue on this particular fridge before. I have done multiple board replacements and ice maker rebuilds on this unit over the last 11 years. But this problem is new.
There was a service bulletin in November of 2007 for an ice ball issue in this same area on this (and many other) models. My problem, though, isn’t an ice ball but condensation near the same area. Wondering if the drip tray needs to be replaced.
