What is the drum capacity of my Kenmore HE3t washer. I am looking for a new washer now and want to know as a point of reference. Sears has been of no help to my question.

Also are their repair places that will buy this washer when I buy my new one? Its problems are: small leak in water valve allowing water to enter drum between loads and bleach despensing area of the detergent drawer not working properly.

I have done repairs to this washer in the past and am just ready to get a new more efficient machine. Let me know. Thanks Mike

Washer drum or tub capacity is usually only listed in the original sales advertisement. You can determine capacity by measuring the size of the drum or tub in inches. Take the square of the radius (half diameter) multiplied by 3.14, multiply that by the depth and divide by 1728 to get cubic feet.
