Which cam size for Agitator repair?

I have a Whirlpool Heavy Duty Extra Large Capacity Plus washer that needs agitator repair. I can’t get to the back panel of it to get a part number. The only thing I see is on the lid where it says Stylemaster No. 4216273 Revision 1, though this is hard painted on the lid and doesn’t look like a part number.

I just need to know what cam I need - whether long or medium. I suspect Long.

Here are 2 photos of the top panel for identification. Any help you can give me in identifying which agitator repair kit I need would be greatly appreciated.

The model/serial number tag would not be on the back of this washer.
Open the lid and look around the rim of the washer opening.
It will be towards the back and maybe hard to see with the lid in the way.

If you still can not find a model number then just order the agitator dogs instead of the repair kit.

Long or med. cam they all use the same agitator dogs.

I never saw the number before, but I looked where you said and found it.

It is a LXR9245E

Looks like you need the medium cam kit (AP3119063, or as AJ pointed out, just get the dogs ([URL="http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/ctrfs.aspx?part_id=3119063&&model_id=257498&diagram_id=85518)).

do you need any special tools to replace the dogs?

I have removed the agitatior but cannot seems to get to where the dogs are. I can see the dogs. Do I have to take the uper part off from the lower part and if so how is that best done. I have a Whirlpool model LLN8244ANO

how do you remove the dogs? do you break the 4 tabs?

Hi,

See if this link helps.

How to replace the agitator dogs, with photos!

We tried to set the self clean mode for the upper oven. It started, but then after a few minutes the error code F2 flashed.
We cannot get the oven into self clean mode.
No problem with the lower oven self clean system. That operates fine.
