Could someone please advise on the parts required and specialists tools needed to repair the loud whirring noise that is produced during the spin cycle on my Maytag 7750cgw. It sounds like the machine is about to take off.
Tilt the washer back. Remove the belt and check how freely the drain pump pulley is moving in both directions. A bad pump bearing is very common problem.
