Whirlpool Control Panel

[LEFT][COLOR=#000000]I’ve recently ordered a new control panel, part #AP4909214 for my Whirlpool GBD277PRS00.

I’ve already removed the side trim on both sides of the oven and removed the screws on either side of the panel.

Per other postings, it states that the panel should easily come off. Unfortunately there seems to be an extreme amount of resistance. I’m afraid that if I apply too much pressure that I may break something.

There are 4 screws under the vent, however no where did it state that these needed to be removed. Should these be removed?

Any assistance would be appreciated.
