whirlpool direct drive washer drains, but no spin

The washer Drains during any given cycle but will not spin. I have already taken the shell off. The coupler seems to be in great shape (assuming that the coupler is the plastic prong thing that connects to the rubber thing with holes in it and to the transmissions plastic prong thing), the pump seems to be in good standing, and the switch is fine as well (has full contact when engaged). I’ve taken off the top part of the agitator to see if anything is moving during agitate and I can see the clutches pushing the agitator as it works. But it does not move during the spin cycle, it just drains. please help!

thank you Gene I have the washer apart and each and every part of the shaft is not spinning at all in the spin cycle. I took the drive block off and everything seems fine there. So I am guessing at this point i need a new transmission? Please let me know if this is the case. also do you have any directions on how to replace the gear case? your documentation that you forwarded me from your previous posts were very helpful. Thank you for your time in helping me through this!
