Whirlpool Dishwasher Repair

Hello,

I have a Whirlpool Dishwasher that has stopped cleaning. It still rns but doesn’t get the dishes clean. I was able to circumvent the switch and get it to run without having the door completely shut and found that the rotating spray arm underneith the bottom cleaning tray is not turning but the pump is puping lots of water. I removed the spray arm and found that the filter assembly had several holes in it, some of them as big as a dime and that water was gushing out of these holes when the washer was turned on. First Question: Would the loss of water pressure from these holes being in the filter asembly cause the spray arm not to turn? Second Question: If, in fact, the filter assembly needs replacing, what other parts will I need to put the thing back together such as gaskets, seals, pump centering device, etc.?

Thans for any and all assistance.

Sincerely
