Whirlpool Dryer starting to make high pitched humming noice

Hi Everyone,

My Whirlpool electric dryer is making a high pitched humming noise while running. It seems to dry just fine, but the noise comes and goes and is becoming more frequent. Any ideas what this may be?

Hi.

Check several things which may cause that noise.

Those are:
Idler pulley.
Drum support rollers and shafts.
Foreign object inside the blower wheel housing.
Motor bearings.
