I have an electric Whirlpool dryer Model#GEW9868KQ2 that suddenly stopped drying the clothes. It doesnt give me any codes and will run, but element does not heat up. This is the things that I have done. 1st.Checked voltage at plug 230 volts. Pulled the kick panel off and cleaned the heck out of the bottom, hasn’t been cleaned since we owned it. 2nd. Pulled the heating element (part#14)off and getting 10 ohms out of element nothing connected to it. 3rd I pulled the dryer thermal fuse (part#59)had .2 on the ohms. 4th I took Thermal high limit thermostat(part#48) and got a reading of .2ohms. 5th I pulled thermal cutoff sensor (part#47)and didnt get any change in ohm meter(no sound either on other setting). 6th Took out the dryer thermister (part#42) no change in ohms(no beeping either at other setting on meter).
Is my problem in parts #42 and #47? Or is it something in the computer board?
While I got it apart should I replace all the above parts?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks Mark
My dryer works on timed dry., but is intermintent on auto sense dry. the problem is timed dry is only 30 minutes so you have to keep turning it on.
Thanks for any help.

What is it not doing?
Have you cleaned checked your vent system?
What have you done so far to troubleshoot this.
Check your exhaust temperature. The temperature should get to around 155 degrees F. This is the shut off point of the control thermostat. It closes at 130 degrees F.
If you’re an avid person that uses liquid fabric softener/certain type of detergents will get on the moisture sensor bars clean them with sandpaper or a wire brush they get residue on them from the softeners and detergents sometimes that affect the dry times of the moisture sensing circuits as well.
