I just replaced the dryer belt & tried to run a test cycle, but the dryer sounds like a heartbeat while operating & after about 30 seconds has a burnt smell. These are the same symptoms that caused me to replace the belt in the first place, thinking that the belt was deteriorated and/or rubbing against something. After removing the old belt, it looked ok (no cracks visible, very minor wear was visible, the beginnings of fraying on the edges in 3 different locations). Is there another part that I should have checked/replaced?
