whirlpool duet front load washer wont start

power ok, no error codes but wont start
tested door latch assembly and it tests ok
suspect button on the control panel not engaging
how do i verify this?

found the issue start button broken in console. part # w10370324
dont want to purchase entire console but have not found anyone selling the above replacement part

any suggestions

I don’t think that button can be bought without buying the whole console (thanks Whirlpool). If you want to replace the console you can buy the part from this site and if it does not solve the problem you can return it.
