Whirlpool duet steam f20 code

We have a whirlpool duet steam front loader washer that was given to us. It worked for the previous owners. We hooked it up and it won’t work. It powers on and can select cycles but once I press start the door locks and nothing else happens. I ran the diagnositics and get the following: F20, C:01, C:08. We replaced the inlet valve but still get the error. Any ideas before I start ordering parts that aren’t needed?
