LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON WHAT TO REPLACE FIRST:
(a) flow meter; (b) water inlet valve; (c) pressure switch (this was replaced about a year ago); and/or (d) the control panel.
I am getting the dreaded F20 code. It seems to happen variably, almost never makes it through a wash. and happens most often during the RINSE cycle. I’ve tried numerous things, with no success.
(1) replaced the hoses with plain standard rubber hoses;
(2) checked the screens for the water intake;
(3) checked the home water pressure;
(4) checked that water was coming out the fill hoses with sufficient pressure;
(5) removed all debris from the clean-out near the pump assembly;
(6) replaced the hose for the pressure switch with 1/4" hose;
(7) blew into pressure switch hose;
(8) cleaned out the discharge hose and made sure that it was more than 3 feet off the ground;
(9) removed the water inlet valve and checked continuity (seems to have continuity on all three connections).
I’ve run numerous cycles on quick wash and it usually gives a code around 19 minutes in (of 25) but occasionally makes it longer. I’ve put way more time into this machine than it is worth and I’ll just get a new one rather than call a service person out at this point (not sure what more they could do anyway).
Thanks for any help!
Edit to add: When it gives the F20 and I hit cancel, I notice that the pump runs for a very long time. I see that some water seems caught in the discharge hose. When I try and remove the water manually, I see that it is only a few ounces. Is that normal, or should the pump be eliminating ALL the water very quickly?
