I’ve got an 11 yr old whirlpool frig with in-door icemaker that stopped working. Seems to be the optics. Ran a diagnostic and the light wouldn’t come on at all, so I ordered and replaced the optics circuit panels. Unfortunately, now the light doesn’t go on at all when the door is open. If I push the door closed switch, the light flashes red one at a time. When I run diagnostics, the light doesn’t come on. Feeling pretty frustrated after spending $228 on parts and not succeeding. Any suggestions?
