My front loading washing machine suddenly is making a clunking sound when it spins:eek: (rinse/drain cycle, when spinning picks up speed). Any thoughts on what this could be and how I can fix it myself?

Operate it with the back and top off and see if you can determine the source of the problem. Check for support issues on the tub.
