Whirlpool GEW9250 dryer gets too hot

Dryer gets too hot, and stays hot. I have replaced the thermal fuse and thermistor, but it did not help.

What you have is an air flow issue. If the heated air cannot escape the unit is going to overheat. Clean out you filter/blower housing and outside vent. Use rigid metal vent piping. If the thermistor didn’t correct the problem then maybe the control is faulty.

Thanks-
I have good air flow coming out of the vents. What is the control, and is there a way for me to test it?
