Whirlpool gold dishwasher

The dishwasher runs ok and counts down to 44 min. and continues to run but min. stay at 44. After a few min. you can open the door and restart. But sometimes you have to try and restart 3 or 4 times before it will continue count down, ? Thanks for any help you can give. B.E.J.

If I am doing it right the first number was 88-d3-07-05 Clean& Normal led14 then 12 B.E.J

This is the second DW we had and the last one did the same thing after two years, never could find any one to repair it. Bej

How long it stays at this number? It can be due to the thermal hold. The water inside the dishwasher heats up and it will be paused until the water inside would not reach a proper temperature. If the water temperature is much bellow recommended 120°F then the heating (and pause) can take pretty long time.

Measure the water temperature inside the dishwasher at the beginning of this stop and do it again after 20 minutes. Post the results.

When It stopped at 44 Min I opened it and the water temp was 129 deg.
I closed the door and and it stayed at44 for 16 min. then started down. The water was 134 at that time. It completed the cycle then. We only run it about every three days. The cycle started at 79 min.

Looks like it works as designed.
