Ice maker froze up yesterday and stopped making ice. The chute coming into the icemaker was frozen so we used a heat gun and thawed it out. The water came out afterwards, made a few ice cubes and then just basically dumped water into the tray in a big sheet that clogged up the tray. It wouldn’t dispense the ice, obviously. So we thawed out the tray and reinserted it, now it doesn’t appear to be doing much of anything, except maybe the chute is freezing up. There is some leakage from the bottom of the tray into the freezer.
I can’t figure this out.
