Whirlpool Goldseries Control Board Issues

I have never done much work on dishwashers so pardon the noobness.

model: WDT710PAYM3

The control panel is acting weird, all the buttons make a sound when pressed but when I click start nothing happens, some buttons don’t light at all. Reset breaker to the unit and did the control board reset (heat + dry repeatedly or wahtever), didn’t work.

Needing to know the proper steps to troubleshoot this! Thanks all.

replaced control board, worked once now having same problem again, assuming its the button inteface bar across the top, only other part I can think that would cause this.
