Ice dispenser chute door wont close. Inside freezer frosting up. Can anyone tell me how the front cover comes off so I can see inside to see what broke? Does it snap on, or slide up to remove? i dont want to break it removing it?
Ice maker was working on and off. Finally quit. Changed emitter due to no light. have power at ice maker harness plug until it is plugged into the unit. Power disappears. Unplug it and it comes back. (motor on ice maker not running) Thanks!
did you replace the receiver board as well?
yes, i think. changed the two components which sense ice level. have 119v till the ice maker is plugged in. havent had a chance to ring out leads down to the the bottom of fridge. thanks again.
then replace the ice maker.
