Dear Sir/Madam,
My Whirlpool Quiet Partner 1 (model no. du1010xtxq0) shut down and will not restart. The green "clean" light repeats a cycle of 7 flashes, which is presumably some sort of error code. I tried cutting the power from the unit to reset it, but that did not work. I also tried the reset procedure of pressing the control panel buttons in the following progression; heated dry-normal-heated dry-normal-cancel. I tried it with the dishwasher door open and closed. The unit did not reset. I also tried the heated dry-normal-heated dry-normal progression followed by a two minute wait period. This did not reset the unit either.
Based on internet research, the problem could also be a bad heating element or control board. I removed the heating element and it failed a continuity test. I replaced it but this did not resolve the problem. My next step is to replace the $180.00 control board. Are there any suggestions before I do this?
