My dishwasher fills sounds as if it is going to start to wash… buzzes (hums) and nothing. I wait a bit longer and… nothing. I hit cancel and it drains. The heating element does not get hot. I checked for any clogs or obstructions-- nothing. ran the reset (normal-heat dry, normal-heat dry) It turns on, fills, and nothing.
any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you,

Hello -
I am having a similar issue to the one described by the OP.
Basically, my dishwasher started a couple of cycles go with loud noises while the water was rinsing…
Today, I ran the dishwasher and it didnt work… light was blinking. So I reset it by running diagnostic mode… tried disconnecting power for a couple hours.
I also even took some of the sump assembly parts apart and cleaned out some debris. I put the thing back together and it still does the same thing.
To be specific - it puts water in the dishwasher and as it goes to have the arms spray the dishes, you can hear a click as if the power is being sent to rotate those puppies… but no success…
So basically, all it does is put water in the dishwasher and heats it… with periodic clicking noises.
Does this sound like a motor problem to anyone? Is there something I should check a bit closer? It is a Quiet Partner III - stainless steel (with components substantially similar to the instruction manual that was posted above).
Thanks for your help in advance.
