Whirlpool Quiet Partner II will not start

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II model: DU1148XTPQ3.

Background info:

The dishwasher is against and exterior wall and the symptoms start after the cold spell in early January in the northeast. However the unit started working for a while when it warmed up and then I started to experience the symptoms below. These events lead me to believe it is related to the thermostat.

Symptoms:

  1. The unit will not start.

  2. The cancel operation works OK.

  3. Reset operation not responding. Pushed sani-rinse and heated dry three times and no blinking light reset sequence. Nothing….

  4. The only lights that come on are the following:

a. Pots & pan & headed dry
b. Normal & headed dry
c. Light & headed dry

The headed dry light automatically comes on when you push one of the three wash types above.

  1. I replaced the electrical control board and same symptoms.
