Whirlpool Quiet Partner III (GU2500XTPB1). Does not respond to any buttons. "Clean xpress" light blinking rapidly. I’m using the Tech Sheet. It will not run a Diagnostic Cycle. TCO is OK. I checked the keypad with ohm meter (per Tech Sheet) and all buttons checked OK. Both door microswitches are closing correctly. I successfully "hotwired" the drain pump by jumping P8 to P10 (bypassing EC relay K3) and P7 to P3 (bypassing EC Triac Q6). (It had water in it.) Pressing "Start" or "Normal" lights "Normal" light ("Clean xpress" continues to blink rapidly), but nothing happens. Holding any button (other than the "Clean xpress" button) causes the "Clean xpress" light to turn off and the "Normal" light to flash while the button is held. We had a thunderstorm / power outage just prior to this happening so I think the ECU might be fried. Any ideas ?
