This is a "Whirlpool Gold® 15-inch Undercounter Trash Compactor with Clean Touch™ Console" that was in the house I just bought.
It has three buttons and a key.
The key is in the "on" position;
Of the three buttons, Off, On, Start, the "On" is red highlighted.
When we filled it near to the top, within about 2 inches, I tried the "Start" button but got nothing.
No sound, no movement, no groans or death crying. Nada.
I have never had one before. I dont mind tearing it apart, but it would be good to know what to look for. Any help is greatly appreciated.
