My Whirlpool washer starts, fill with water and completely stops. I can’t get it to do anything. Doesn’t make any noise. So now there are clothes sitting in water in the washer.
This has happened a few times lately and every now and then if I play with the switches, unplug & plug it will complete the cycle. But I have no idea why it randomly decides to work. It usually has to be a couple days before it decides to work.
I have read some of the post and keep seeing things about the timer being replaced with similiar problems. If you think this might be the case, can you guide me through that? We just sold our house so I would really love to fix this washer rather than have to buy a new one to leave with the house.
