Whirlpool washer will not fill

The washer will not fill with water. The faucets are clear; the hoses are clear; the pump seems to be working and clear; the pump’s hoses are clear. It goes into the cycles fine and shifts from one cycle to another with no problems. However, it does not want to drain completely and the wash and rinse cycle have no water filling the tub. I have cleaned the tube going into the water level switch. I have poured water into the tub to test it. Not sure where to go from here.

Here is the wiring diagram

Could be that the level switch’s contacts are welded together.
Easiest way is to check it with a meter. Remove the wire from V then measure across V to T should be infinite ohms (open), then measure from V to the third connection should be 0 ohms.

Another way would be to unplug the unit, remove the wires from V and the third connector (not T), short them together and tape them up so they cannot short to the frame. Then plug it in and give it a try, if it starts to fill the switch is probably toast.
