need washer help!!–washer overflowed so i checked the fill valve and level control switch. the air dome is clear and the hose isnt obstructed or pinched, water fill valves seemed sticky so i replaced it with new. found what i thought was a broken contact inside the timer so replaced it also with a new one. unfortunatley the new timer is missing the same contact–it wasnt broken at all. so…i have a new timer, new fill valve, the level switch checks and the hose and dome are clear. the temp switch seems to be good-- i pulled it apart–no broken or burned contacts. currently the washer wont fill or agitate, it will spin. it will fill on soak cycle but only with hot water. im stumped — need help the laundry is piling up and the wife has the credit card in her hand ready to buy a new one because her incompetent husband cant fix this one!!!
