Issue: Refrigerator will not cool on either side
Symptoms: Air is not cool blowing into the freezer no matter which setting is used. The fan is coming on. There is a click which dims the lights and then a second click that brightens the lights a second or so after the first click. I’m assuming this is the compressor kicking on and then immediately off.
None of the electronics are warm to the touch. None of the tubing (copper) is cool to the touch (for some reason I assume some of this should be).
What I have done: Powered off the fridge for 24 hours and ran water down the air vents in case some freezing had occurred within the ventilation system. Checked for overall cleanliness of the coils - good to go. Checked the drip pan and emptied most of the water in it (really hard to get to the drip pan).
I’m sure the clicking is the key to my issue but I haven’t been around electronics enough or ever long enough but it sounds like a relay clicking on then off.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,
Kevin
