I have a Whirpool side by side that is four years old. I have no lights on the refrigerator side and also the digital readouts in the top of the refrigerator that tell you what the temp setting is in the refrigerator and freezer don’t work. The lights do work in the freezer and I also checked the bulbs in the refrigerator. Could this be the control board and if so which one? There is a control board in the refrigerator and one down where the compressor is. Any help in determining the exact problem would be appreciated.

GS6SHEXNS00 Mine also had a clicking noise when you opened the door. Bulb replacement did nothing. It was a relay on the electronic control board which needed to be replaced and was making the arcing noise. It was very simple to replace. We ordered one on line and it came the next day. Unplug the refrigerator and clean under it! You need a socket set and a screwdriver. A diagram of where the board box is. It is literally 3 connectors disconnected, 3 new ones connected and put back in the refrigerator Our box was in lower left against the cabinet.
