This will make the third time I’ve posted this and so far all the post around me have been anwered but not mine? Am I doing somethingwrong?
I have a Magic Chef Washer model number W20HN-23 that won’t engage the spin cycle. It will go through all the other cycles on the timer, agitate, etc but will not spin on any of the segments. I have replaced the lid switch but it still will not spin. Now of course it’s sitting with ta full drum of water.
I can manually rotate the timer through the stages and all work except the spin. When the timer hits the spin there is no noise at all, no grind or hum just no spin and no drain. I turned the unit on it’s side and checked the belt and the pullys and all appear to be OK. I can’t find a fuse anywhere on the washer. I really don’t want to replace the timer if that’s not the problem.
