We had a power surge the other day and i did not notice that it affected the washer until today. The washer fills and drains, but does not agitate or spin. After researching online, I have pin pointed it down to the motor inverter board or the harness fuse. There is no blinking led or light on the inverter board to help me indicate the problem. I unwrapped and located the inline fuse, but have no idea what to look for. It has a black rubber sheath around it and seems fine. The washer worked fine before this event. Looking for any help on the matter. Thanks!

Disconnect the washer and skin the wire on each end of that fuse then check it with an ohmmeter. If the light is not blinking that fuse if most likely blown. This page will help more HydroWave GE Washer Repair Guide

That is exactly what I did. It was blown, so I spliced it and plugged it into a surge protector until the new fuse I ordered comes in the mail. Thanks for the reply!
i have the same problem with ge ewa5600g0ww i have tested the lid switch, ok. The fues was bad and replaced it, but still no spin. It will go through cycle just fine, but when it get to drain/spin the drain pumps water out fine, but doesn;t seem to stop pumping or spin, no agitation either. there is still no led to be seen. i ordered a motor, since that seems to be the last thing to do. any other suggestions.
just really bumbed a <3 year washers motor toasted. ???
It does sound like the motor is bad but you may have to replace the fuse agian. It may have blown agian due to the bad motor.
