Won't spin,won't drain

Washer won’t spin or drain, but will fill and agitate. Timer motor makes no sound when dial is in the spin/drain positions. Drain hose clear and at proper elevation . Hot and cold fill hoses clear and flowing. New Timer required or
can problem be elsewhere?
