Need advice,
Washer wont spin. I found while troubleshooting on the motor an led light was flashing 6 times which shows locked rotor.
Is there anything else this could be before I purchase a new motor/inverter?

Sounds like the pump needs replacing

See if there is in fact a locked rotor. Try to turn the plulley by hand and if it will turn freely then the rotor is not locked. Try clearing the code as decribed on this page http://www.appliance-repair-it.com/GE-washer-repair.html then if the error comes back replace the motor.

If the pulley will not turn then you have to see if it is the motor or the shaft and tube (sifter). Remvoe the belt and see if the motor is stuck or the big pulley is suck. If the motor is stuck the motor is bad and if the big pulley is stuck then the shaft and tube is the problem.
