Thanks Gene, you were right. I took the SHU9922 out of the cabinet space and opened the side panel with the circulation motor. It was hot and seized up. I pushed on the cooling fins inside the motor and got it to free up some but also bent the cooling fin in the process. The filter wasn’t replaced correctly after the last cleaning and I hope that this wasn’t self induced by debri in the washer that could have been caught with the filter. I guess after 9 years, it was getting old anyways.
MY QUESTION NOW IS: HOW DO I REMOVE THE BOTTOM PART OF THE DISHWASHER, THE PAN/TRAY TO GET TO THE MOTOR FOR REMOVAL. DOES THE WHOLE TOP SECTION LIFT OFF?
Thanks in advance for the help. Thanks again Gene.
PS Is the circ pump a common failure?
