Hello all. I am new here and this is my first post. We have a GE gas cooktop, model #jgp628bec1bb which was here when we moved in 11 years ago. Over the holidays, my wife accidentally spilled juice from a roasted turkey onto the cooktop. After we cleaned up the liquid, we noticed that the rear left burner was not sparking. We could light the burner with a match, but there was no spark coming from the ignitor. I decided to switch the ignitor with the front one, to test it and see if it was in fact the ignitor. When I switched them, it still did not produce a spark, so I switched them back. Now, the front one will spark, but it is not enough to ignite the flame. Again, I can light this one as well with a match, but the spark does not seem to ignite the flame. So now I have 2 burners that will not ignite, one with a spark and one with no spark. The 2 burners on the right hand side of the cooktop work great. I know nothing about cooktops, so any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks,
Kevin
