2005 frigidaire side x side auger problem

when you shut the freezer door the auger comes on until you reopen door. it will stop if you lock it out on display on door. the diagram is missing. have changed door switch and power board with no change. i have now noticed a pin point puncture in the ribbon. the hole is between the strips cant see if touching metal. do you think power is jumping across through hole or maybe in display board? thanks so much
