When I place the washer into spin, I hear a loud (somewhat lower-pitched whirring sound… like a bearing(metal on metal)). What could this be? Brake works fine. I removed the agitator, but see a black seal around the shaft of the transmission. Can u advise me as to how to properly continue? (P.S. I have a spanner wrench)
