The evaporator fan in my Amana refrigerator stopped working recently. I pulled the motor to replace it, but when I applied 120V it ran fine so I checked the voltage on the lines coming in to the motor. It was only reading 60-75 VAC. I also did a coninuity check on the defrost thermostat and it appears to be fine. I was going to check the deforts timer, but I am not sure where it is locted. Does anyone know where it is located on this model fridge and could this be the problem if it somehow not making a good contact to send the pwer to the fan motor. The compressor and compressor fan are running. If there is a bad conncetion or short somewhere else, any advice on where to check?
