My dryer will not start. I have good power, ran the system check diagnostics listed in the service manual. The only one that didn’t pass was "cycles the motor on/off." So, I ordered a new motor – no help. Same symptoms. Just before it quit, my wife said she saw "hE" in the display. Does this mean the thermistor is open? If so, can I confirm that by taping the connectors together? I’ve tried that and it still won’t start. When I push the rotary selector dial to start it, I hear a faint click from the control board, then another faint click a second or 2 later. Also, I have 120v out of the motor relay but not past the TH1 thermostat. Any help would relieve an EXTREME amount of stress on my marriage!
I am assuming that you have the tech sheet.

If you are measuring from Neutral to 1 BRN at the control board or one side of TH1 then I would say either the thermostat or the belt switch is open.
