Another oven not heaing up after self-clean.

Hi Everyone,
I did a self clean last week on my whirlpool gsc309pvs02 oven and it just stopped after about an hour or so. The panel went blank and the oven door locked. I flipped the circuit breaker and nothing happened so I just waited. It finally came back on to unlock the door and got a power failure error 27. Tried to use it this afternoon and it never heated up. I then tried the broiler and convection alternatives and had the same results of it not heating up. Could it be a blown thermal fuse? If so how do I get to it?
Thanks for any info in advance!
Mike

Hi Mike,

The problem can be a bad oven shutdown fuse (on the back of the oven) or a bad DLB relay (behind the control panel on the right side).

The oven shutdown fuse can be tested from the front after you will open the control panel. Check for continuity between wires connected to the P2-4 (R) or P3-1 (OR) terminals at the control board and the R/W wire at the DLB relay.

If the circuit is open, replace the oven shutdown fuse.

Otherwise replace the DLB relay.

Thanks Gene, I actually called to have you come over to service it instead of me messing with it. I called you earlier today to schedule an appointment since my wife won’t let me open it up. Lol!!
Thanks!
