Any decent diagnosticians out there?

Hoping someone can help diagnose why my 5-yr-old side-by-side stopped working after it was out of power for a few days. Was working fine before the power went out. Now when I turn it on it gives a very faint hum for a few seconds then stops. Lights are working fine - no compressor or fan though.

Are you all stumped?

Thanks for your suggestion richappy! I will try a new control module. I should clarify that the power outage was not caused by any surge, the power was turned off for four days before I put the power on in my name. Does this make any (diagnostic) difference?
