Auto defrost control replacement problem

I’ve run into a problem installing a new ADC kit in my refridgerator. I had to replace the wiring harness in my unit with the one that came with the new ADC (P/N AP4909015). Everything was going fine until note 4 in the directions says that the wiring harness in the kit has a connector for the fast ice/fast freeze heater installed on the freezer control bulb. Well, my new harness does not have this connector. So what should I do? Proceed on and just lose this funtion, cut if off of my old harness and splice it into the new one, or I’m I just missing something else altogether?

Thanks for any help.

Here is the tech sheet for this unit.

Looks like there is a problem with this kit or at least the instructions they provide from Frigidaire depending on the unit it is installed in.

I think I would just loose this function rather than perhaps mis-wire something and cause other problems.
Here is a link to an older post, though in his case the heater was there but the function was not on the ice/water keypad.

Sorry but without actually being there I cannot be of much help.
The above poster’s instructions seems to have said to do this.
